Context Overload: When Too Much Info Hurts AI
Context Overload
More context is not always better. Pasting dozens of pages "just in case" can bury the important details, and models may pay less attention to information in the middle of a very long prompt.
Irrelevant text can also pull the answer off track or push you past the context window.
Include what the task needs, put the most important instructions near the start or end, and trim the rest.
