How to Control AI Output Format
Shape the Output
If you care how the answer looks, say so. You can ask for a bulleted list, a table, a numbered plan, a single sentence, or structured data like JSON.
You can also set length ("in 3 bullets", "under 50 words") and tone ("friendly", "formal").
Specifying the output format saves you from reformatting the answer yourself and makes results easier to reuse.
